Wind Down Daily

Twelve minutes a night. Picked for you.

Not a library of a thousand recordings to scroll through. One practice a day, chosen from how you slept and how the day went. You open it and you do it. That is the whole thing.

Why one a day instead of a thousand

Every app in this corner of the store hands you a library and a search bar. That works if you have the energy to choose. At eleven at night, after the kind of day that put you here, choosing is the part you cannot do.

So we took it away.

  1. Before bed you tap three things. How you slept. How tight you feel. How much is left in the tank. It takes about seven seconds.
  2. Tomorrow’s twelve minutes are built from those three numbers. Breathing, or shaking it out, or lying still and doing almost nothing, depending on what the numbers say.
  3. You are told in one line why you got that one. Word for word from a real day: slept badly, tight, running on empty, three minutes to shake it out first, then nine minutes down.

What the first five days are

Free, and no card.

What it costs

Five days free. No card, nothing to cancel.

Then $29 once for the full thirty days.

After that, $12 a month if you want to keep going. Cancel in one tap.

The part we will not blur

This is not treatment and it is not therapy. It does not replace either one, and it is not a substitute for advice from a doctor.

If you take something a doctor prescribed, keep taking it and talk to your doctor. This is twelve minutes a night on top of whatever you already do. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country.

Questions people ask first

Do I need to know anything before I start?

No. Every practice is guided out loud. You do not have to know the names of anything.

How long does it actually take?

Twelve minutes at night. Ninety seconds during the day if you want it. The evening check-in is three taps.

What if I miss a day?

The next one gets shorter, not longer. There are no streaks to break and no badges to lose. Coming back has to be easy or nobody comes back.

Is this meditation?

Some of it. There is also breathing, movement, shaking out, and light. Which one you get depends on your three numbers, not on what is fashionable.

Whose voice is it?

The practices are read by a synthetic voice, chosen so the pacing and the pauses stay exactly where they belong. The story on the app's first screen is mine, and so is everything written here. We would rather tell you than have you work it out.

What happens to what I log?

Three numbers a day, and that is all we keep. Not sold, not shared. See Privacy, and you can wipe everything from this page or from inside the app.
